The famous tragedy of William Shakespeare

 

 

I read the Romeo & Juliet novel when I was in Grade 11. I felt so romantic and sad about reading this book. William Shakespeare was the best author in English Literature I have ever heard of. And the specialty of this book was that it was written based on Love. I can still recall that I bought it from Colombo International Book Fair. I read it very excitedly. There were two kings of Verona, Italy named Lord Capulet and Lord Montague. The two families were feuding with each other. But Romeo, the Son of Lord Capulet, and Juliet, the Daughter of Lord Montague fell in love with each other. But for the above reason, they never had a chance to be together.
