My very first visit to Diyatha Uyana

 

 

Diyatha Station 

Sarala and Nimmi who are my friends took me away to Diyatha Uyana. It is located in Sri Jayawardhanapura Kotte which is Capital of Sri Lanka. It is very close to Sarala’s Home.  

We arrived at the park around 4pm in Sarala's car. There was a big fair  at the entrance. First we visited and moved to the Cafeterias. We bought 3 baked butter corn and started walking. 

That day it was fully crowded. It has large lake and we had to go the other side on boat. But my friend’s mom told not to go by boat , come home before 7 o’ clock at least. 

We nevertheless went on a boat ride. It’s called Diyatha Station.There was a broken train repaired and restaurants in every compartment. She showed me all that and quickly back to the other side from the boat. 

                                                                We three agreed to keep it as a secret. Nimmi waited for us to arrive and then we headed back home as the crowd was packed.
