Carnival Festival in Cyprus

This is a very popular festival in Limassol, Cyprus. The Limassol Carnival is the oldest and most popular pagan festival in the European Border. This event is held 12 days before the start of lent (on the day before Ash Monday). Also known as 50 days before Orthodox Easter. When I visited Cyprus in 2014 I saw this Festival. It's like the Disney World Festival parade. I was very surprised because I have never seen this festival live. The festival is a colorful 10-day event of eating, wearing costumes, playing games, singing, attending parties, etc. The first of the two Sundays is the Children's parade. And Grand parade is the peak focus of this festival. The festival culminates with a large parade and traversing the city. This festival is an event you must experience in your life.
